About

Why we started this.

More and more of the questions that end in somebody spending money are now being asked of AI rather than typed into Google.

When your customer asks instead of searching, the answer names three businesses. Being the fourth is the same as not being there at all.

There is already software that measures this. Most of it is built in America and priced for companies with a marketing team to act on what it finds. A business with twelve staff and a website a relative built in 2019 doesn’t need another login. It needs the work done.

There are also plenty of agencies who’ll do the work. What most of them can’t give you is any proof beyond their own word for it.

We do both — and we’re careful about what we claim.

How we work

Four things we’re careful about.

We keep counts and estimates apart
Two of our three numbers are straight counts taken from your own website. The third is an estimate, and we never let it look as solid as the other two.
We show you when answers disagree
Ask the same question three times and you can get three different answers. You see all three. Averaging them would look tidier and tell you less.
We say when we can’t be sure
If a number moves only slightly, we tell you we can’t call it yet. It costs us a good-looking month sometimes. It’s why the good months mean something.
We don’t claim credit for everything
You get what changed and everything we did. You can join the two up yourself — and be wary of anyone who does it for you.

If that sounds like the kind of supplier you want.

Start with the free check on your own website. It costs nothing, needs nothing from you but your web address, and whoever looks after your site can check every line of it.

Your web person can verify every line of it. That’s rather the point.
